A shrine popular for love and good fortune.
Tokyo Daijingu was founded in 1880 as a sister shrine where the people of Tokyo could worship the deities enshrined in the Grand Shrine of Ise in Mie prefecture from afar. With the divine power of these deities of creation and growth which includes the virtue of togetherness, Tokyo Daijingu is popular as a shrine for a good marriage and love fortune. It was also the location of the first public “shinzen kekkonshiki,” a wedding held at a Shinto shrine. Across the grounds are various heart-shaped symbols, called “i-no-me,” or “boar’s eye,” which people have taken to be a symbol of romantic luck, and they’re often photographed.
Located just 5 minutes away from our hotel, why not wake up a little earlier than usual and take a morning stroll to visit the shrine ! Our buffet restaurant will be waiting for you with an enjoyable breakfast with a variety of western and Japanese menus.
We offer four types of rooms for this package. You can choose according to the number of guests and your preferences, from the Edmont Standard with a 150cm wide queen bed, to the East Wing Family, which sleeps up to five people.
