The Chef

Executive Chef  Tatsuya Inoko

Chef Inoko joined Hotel Edmont when it first opened in 1985, where he cooked Western cuisine for banquets. This was the start of his journey as a chef. Later, after stints at hotels in Tokyo and Yokohama, he worked as deputy executive chef in the Westin Hotel Tokyo’s Western banquets, buffet restaurant, and teppanyaki grill restaurant.
He was appointed executive chef of Hotel Metropolitan Edmont’s teppanyaki grill restaurant, Yamahiko, in May 2017. With my motto of finding the best ways to give diners the most enjoyable time, along with serving them delicious food, I value communication with our guests and always serve them with a smile.
