Notice: Regarding the Revision of the Tokyo Metropolitan Accommodation Tax

Due to a revision of the Tokyo Metropolitan Accommodation Tax Ordinance, the accommodation tax rate will change for stays beginning Thursday, April 1, 2027, as detailed below.

Please note that the new tax rate will apply to all stays from Thursday, April 1, 2027 onwards, regardless of when the reservation was made or the payment was completed. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.

■ Through Wednesday, March 31, 2027 (Current: Flat-rate tax)

■ Effective Thursday, April 1, 2027 (Revised: Percentage-based tax)

[Calculation Example]
For a room rate of 20,000 JPY (per person, per night): 20,000 JPY × 3% = 600 JPY

* The accommodation tax is to be paid directly at the hotel upon check-in.
* The taxable "room rate" includes the basic room charge and service charge, but excludes meals and consumption tax.
